-Parents-

-Pilots-

!! Propellers!!

Propellers are invisible and very dangerous!!!!!

Parents:

Please keep your small children close. Do not allow them near the aircraft unless you have them by the hand.

Be aware, if you hear the words “CLEAR” or “CLEAR PROP”, this means this pilot is about to start his engine.

Please do not allow your children to ride mini-bikes or go-carts near the flight line, or around, in, or near the hangars. These can only be ridden on the gravel road south of the hangars - down to the south end of the runway and back. Please keep dogs on a short leash. Thanks.

Pilots:

If possible, start your engines near the runway. Be certain there is no one standing near, and no child or dog running in your direction. Have one of the safety guards (safety-vested-guys) stand-by as you start, and to walk beside you to the runway if you need to taxi. That’s why they’re here. Avoid crowds when starting. If in doubt, kill the engine immediately. Please turn off your engine as soon as you clear the runway after landing if practical, and push/pull your aircraft to your spot. If taxiing, please get a safety guard to walk beside you. Thanks.
